I have taught 9th grade English, Mythology, and Strategic Tutoring during my years of teaching.

Before becoming a full time teacher, I was a Sign Language interpreter for 4 years. I was also a substitute teacher. I love being in the classroom and working with students.

Educational Philosophy

I believe that all students have the potential to be awesome learners. As a teacher, I just have to find a way to reach them where they are to make the as successful as they can be in my classroom.  I need to find a way to relate the skills from my classroom to their lives outside the four walls so they can be successful in life as well.

What's New?

The newest thing in my life is that am at A. L. Brown High School!!  I joined the teaching team here on September 11, 2018! It has been an adventure so far, and I am loving it!

In the classroom, we are just beginning our journey into The Odyssey. We are covering background information, the traits of heroes, and the Hero's Journey.
