Educational Philosophy
Learning is a process of discovery and building.  This includes the heart and mind, information, emotions, and experience.  I love facilitating this process!  If a student knows that I care about them, they will more likely learn the material I present.

What's New?
Biology classes are beginning with scientific methods and a study of Ecology.  We will also be investigating cell processes such as photosynthesis and cellular respiration, cell transport and biochemistry reactions. Genetics and genetic technology are included and we finish with population changes through evolutionary processes.

Anatomy students are learning about the human body.  We begin with the integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system, and our special senses. We continue through our study of endocrine, lymphatic, respiratory, urinary, digestive, and reproductive systems.

AP Biology students are working through the details of living organisms: cells, cellular respiration and photosynthesis.
